The SERA Annual Conference is an important event for the educational research community in Scotland. This year, our annual conference will take place between the 19th – 21st November 2025, and it will be hosted by our colleagues at the University of Aberdeen.
Within the Scottish Educational Research Association’s (SERA) strategic plan the overall purpose of the organisation is stated as:
‘Working for the improvement of education through promoting and sustaining high quality educational research’
This purpose is broken down into five more specific inter-related aims:
